Chastain - acclaimed for her work in "Tree of Life," "Take Shelter" and "Coriolanus," nominated for an Academy Award for her role in "The Help," and currently seen in "Lawless" - is making her Broadway debut in a new production of the Tony Award-winning play "The Heiress," based on the classic Henry James novel "Washington Square" and Academy Award-winning film. Signature Theatre presents the New York premiere of THE TRAIN DRIVER, written and directed by Athol Fugard. THE TRAIN DRIVER is the final production in the Residency One: Athol Fugard Series. The production runs through September 23, 2012, and opened last night, September 9 in The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The producers of The Heiress have just announced full casting for the Broadway-bound production that stars Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain, Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner David Strathairn, the leading man of "Downton Abbey" Dan Stevens and Tony Award winner Judith Ivey. Written by Ruth & Augustus Goetz, The Heiress will be directed by Tony Award nominated playwright and director Moises Kaufman. Tickets go on sale to the general public today, August 27.

Tony Award-winner Nina Arianda will play Italian film star Giulietta Masina, wife of visionary filmmaker Federico Fellini, in Fellini Black and White produced by Andrew Lazar (Jonah Hex, I Love You Phillip Morris). The film, written and directed by Henry Bromell (consulting producer and writer of Showtime's Golden Globe Award-winning series Homeland) is set to begin production in early 2013. Arianda joins a cast that includes Oscar-nominees William H. Macy, Terrence Howard, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, and Brazilian breakout star Wagner Maura who will play the title role of the iconic director.

TVLine.com reports that Gaius Charles has joined the cast of ABC's medical drama GREY'S ANATOMY. The actor will have a recurring role in the show's upcoming ninth season.

Showbiz411 reports that Tony Award winner Nina Arianda has joined the cast of THE DISAPPEARANCE OF ELEANOR RIGBY, a two-part film that is about to begin production. The actress joins previously announced cast members Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy.
