Feathers, glitter, and lace are the norm for Broadway talent, but at the 2012 Tony Awards on Sunday, the stars transformed from showgirl to sophisticated on the red carpet. The 2012 Tony Awards were broadcast live from the Beacon Theatre on CBS, hosted for the thrid time by Neil Patrick Harris. The evening's big winner was Once, which took home the coveted prizes of Best Musical, Best Leading Actor in a Musical (Steve Kazee), Best Director of a Musical (John Tiffany), Best Book of a Musical (Enda Walsh) along with 4 others. Audra McDonald was crowed Best Leading Actress in a Musical for the 5th time (The Gershwin's Porgy & Bess), and Nina Arianda and James Corden were awarded the Best Lead Actress and Actor in a Play for Venus In Fur and One Man, Two Guvnor's, respectively.
