BOOP! The Betty Boop Musical officially began previews in Chicago last night, November 19.  The musical plays at Broadway In Chicago’s CIBC Theatre (18 W. Monroe St.) through December 24. Check out the video of the first curtain call here!

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL comes to Jackson in 2024. The performance is set for May 4, 2024.

The audience at the opening night performance of Broadway Across Canada’s presentation of Hairspray was buzzing with excitement.  There seemed to be more people than usual for a Tuesday night performance, maybe because Hairspray has widespread appeal or maybe just because it is the first show of the new season. Hairspray tells the story of Tracy Turnblad (Caroline Eiseman) a big girl, with big dreams, and an even bigger heart.

Manhattan Theatre Club hosted its 2023 Fall Benefit on Monday, November 13. The evening began at MTC’s Samuel J.
