Circle Gets The Square, LLC announced today the upcoming 10th Anniversary Special Edition recording of Disenchanted!, the critically-acclaimed and award-winning musical with book, music and lyrics by Dennis T. Giacino. The album will feature a reunion of actresses from the 2015 Off-Broadway production, the NYC workshops, as well as the out-of-town tryout productions in Orlando and Tampa.

The Slipper Room, the celebrated variety theatre in Manhattan's Lower East Side, has announced the line-up for their Spring season, presenting a full calendar of regular weekly in-house productions in addition to guest shows, concerts and one-nighters.

The Jazz Bastards, nominated for a MAC Award in the duo and group category, announce their residency at Pangea, hailed by The New York Times as the alternative Cafe Carlisle. Aldo Perez and his co conspirators serve up standards bebop style with originals and vaudeville turns now at their monthly residency at Pangea, the last Friday of every month at 9:30pm, currently through June 28th with possible extension. Legendary American grunge pioneers, L7, have signed with Joan Jett's Blackheart Records for their first album in 20 years, Scatter the Rats, due out May 3, 2019. 'I've been friends with L7 for years and am very excited and proud to have the opportunity to release their new album on Blackheart!'shares Jett. “When we decided to make a new record, Joan was there for us as the good friend she has always been. So great to stomp into Blackheart Records with her at the helm. We're very excited to work with Joan and the entire Blackheart family. Just imagine the family dinners!” says Donita Sparks.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2019 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories.
