Today, Hamilton producer Jeffrey Seller and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, The Rockefeller Foundation president Judith Rodin, NYC Department of Education Chancellor Carmen Fariña and Gilder Lehrman executive director Lesley Herrmann announced an educational partnership to provide 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see Hamilton on Broadway and integrate the show into classroom studies. This educational initiative is made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation to Gilder Lehrman.

History is happening in Manhattan! The Rockefeller Foundation and the producers of the smash hit Broadway musical HAMILTON have agreed to finance a program which will enable 20,000 New York City 11th graders to see the production at a series of matinee performances.

The Tony Award winning Best Musical AVENUE Q - led by the women of the Q company, including producer Robyn Goodman - demonstrate their support of Breast Cancer Awareness month with a special $50 ticket to AVENUE Q throughout October at New World Stages (340 W. 50 St.) in New York, concluding with a very special performance on Friday, October 30 at 8 p.m.

The behind-the-scenes HAMILTON book has now set a release date for April 12, 2016 with the option to preorder now available. It will be available in both hardcover and ebook format. 

Ars Nova presents THE ARS NOVA REVOLUTION, celebrating Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to HAMILTON (Broadway, 2015). This epic night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova's artist community, featuring performances by cast members of Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme, was held just last night at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street). The rumors were true! As previously reported, Sir Cameron Mackintosh (producer of OLIVER!, LES MISERABLES, PHANTOM, MARY POPPINS, MISS SAIGON and CATS) plans to bring Broadway's box-office blockbuster HAMILTON to the West End in 2017. The Daily Mail now writes that Mackintosh is touring West End venues with producers Jeffrey Seller and Oskar Eustis next month, including WAR HORSE's current home at the New London through March 12, 2016.

Lin-Manuel Miranda's new musical Hamilton began previews at theRichard Rodgers Theatre last night prior to an official opening night on August 6th. As was announced last week, $10 front row seats for the new musical will go on sale by lottery, beginning two and half hours prior to each performance. Patrons may enter their name at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.) for a chance to buy up to two front row tickets for $10 each. The winner's names will be drawn 2 hours before show time. Entrants must present photo ID, and the winners must pay with cash at the box office. Crowds flocked yesterday for a chance to win tickets to the first preview. It seems to be the biggest upcoming Broadway musical in recent years. Lin-Manuel Miranda's hip-hop musical, HAMILTON begins previews tonight July 13th and has already become the biggest Broadway event of the 2015/16 season. 

$10 front row seats for HAMILTON -the new musical about the $10 Founding Father, Alexander Hamilton - will go on sale by lottery beginning with the first preview on Broadway on July 13, it has been announced by Jeffrey Seller, producer.

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces Jen Hoguet as the fourth fellow in the one-year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production.

The world premiere production of Hamilton, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, will start performances on Broadway on July 13 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Starring in the new musical will be Lin-Manuel Miranda, Jonathan Groff, Christopher Jackson, Leslie Odom Jr., Phillipa Soo, Anthony Ramos, Daveed Digs and Renee Elise Goldsberry.
