As part of the 2017 edition of its celebrated Crossing the Line Festival, the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF), New York's premiere French cultural center, joins La Mama to present the New York Premiere of Alessandro Sciarroni's UNTITLED_I will be there when you die running Thursday, September 28 through Saturday, September 30 at La MaMa's Ellen Stewart Theatre. The performance is supported by the Hermes Foundation within the framework of the New Settings Program.

Times Square Arts to Present WORD ON THE STREET Public Art Protest Initiative

In partnership with House of Trees, Times Square Arts presents Word on the Street, a public art commission of political and poetic banners created by female artists and writers that speak directly to the urgent, timeless concerns of the individual, the community, and the requirements of citizenry. The exhibition will appear on street pole banners and Bigbelly solar-powered trash and recycling receptacles in Times Square from August 29, 2017 - February 2018.

The Chocolate Factory is thrilled to announce the acquisition of a new permanent facility in Western Queens. Located at 38-29 24th Street in Long Island City, the standalone 7,500 square foot, one story industrial building will become the organization's permanent home and will ultimately house all of its performance and residency activity. The new facility is three times larger than its current space and, when open, will include a 99-120 seat flexible performance space with a sprung-wood dance floor, a 2,000 square foot rehearsal space, and office space.
