The Canadian Arabic Orchestra (CAO) is pleased to announce that single tickets are now on sale for the first annual Festival of Arabic Music & Arts (FAMA), running from October 28 - November 12, 2017. Passes have almost sold out for the Festival that brings together local and international artists to perform across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Burning Coal Theatre Company will present the East Coast premiere of Darkside, a comedy by Tom Stoppard with music by Pink Floyd, directed by Palina Jonsdottir. The play will run October 12 - 14, 19 - 21, 26 - 28, 2017 at 7:30 pm and October 15, 22, and 29 at 2 pm at Burning Coal's Murphey School Auditorium, 224 Polk Street, Raleigh, NC 27604.

Lincoln Center today announced its 2017-18 LC Kids season, featuring a diverse lineup of performances, events, and celebrations for children and families. Times Square Arts to Present WORD ON THE STREET Public Art Protest Initiative

In partnership with House of Trees, Times Square Arts presents Word on the Street, a public art commission of political and poetic banners created by female artists and writers that speak directly to the urgent, timeless concerns of the individual, the community, and the requirements of citizenry. The exhibition will appear on street pole banners and Bigbelly solar-powered trash and recycling receptacles in Times Square from August 29, 2017 - February 2018.

Laughter and love stories carry over into the new Canadian Opera Company production of Donizetti's The Elixir of Love, one of the most popular comedies of the opera world for almost 200 years. The Elixir of Love runs for eight performances at Toronto's Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts on October 11, 15, 17, 21, 27, 29, November 2, 4, 2017.
