    Producers Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Group today announced principal cast changes for the Broadway production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, directed by Harold Prince. The longest-running show in Broadway history and one of the most successful stage productions of all-time, PHANTOM this year surpassed 11,000 performances in New York - an unprecedented feat achieved by no other Broadway show. The Broadway production has played to more than 16 million people at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street), the musical's home for more than 26 record-breaking years. (more...)

    Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) just announced that the new Broadway production of the classic musical ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY starring TonyŽ & EmmyŽ Award winner Kristin Chenoweth as 'Lily Garland' and Golden Globe & SAG Award winner & TonyŽ nominee Peter Gallagher as 'Oscar Jaffee,' will feature TonyŽ nominee Andy Karl as 'Bruce Granit,' Mark Linn?Baker as 'Oliver Webb,' TonyŽ Award winner Michael McGrath as 'Owen O'Malley' and TonyŽ Award winner Mary Louise Wilson as 'Letitia Primrose.' On The Twentieth Century will be choreographed by TonyŽ Award winner Warren Carlyle and directed by six?time TonyŽ nominee Scott Ellis, and features music by Cy Coleman and book & lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green.
