On November 14, 2022, the Museum of the City of New York will present its 2022 Louis Auchincloss Prize to Anna Deavere Smith, actor, playwright, author, and professor, for her contributions to the cultural and performing arts landscape in New York City and beyond. 

The second installment of episodes will feature Ziwe’s signature sit-down interviews with guests including Michael Che, Julia Fox, Amber Riley, Blake Griffin, Joel Kim Booster, Bob The Drag Queen, DeRay Mckesson, Drew Barrymore and Wayne Brady. The New Jewish Theatre has announced its 2023 season, which is also its 25th season of producing professional plays and musicals at the J. The season celebrates some of the New Jewish Theatre's most beloved playwrights, productions and actors, while also bringing new works to St. Louis audiences.  

Overture Center for the Arts and FPC Live present Ani DiFranco with The Righteous Babes Revue: Gracie and Rachel, Pieta Brown, Jocelyn Mackenzie on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. in Capitol Theater.

SONICA is a new, dynamic trio featuring three of today's most distinctive contemporary female musicians, including GRAMMY-nominated vocalists Thana Alexa, Nicole Zuraitis and renowned first-call bassist Julia Adamy. SONICA captures the enticement of female collaboration on this trio project fully engineered, produced and mixed by Thana Alexa.

Barring a dramatic upturn in business, the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Paradise Square will conclude its run with the 3:00 pm matinee on Sunday, July 17 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). At the time of closing, the production will have played 23 previews and 108 performances. 

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University raised $1.35 million in support of the theater’s mission to expand the boundaries of theater through its artistic productions and educational offerings at its annual fundraising gala held last Monday, June 6.
