Ron Howard to Screen Wildfire Film REBUILDING PARADISE in Ojai

Rebuilding Paradise, a cautionary tale that we all should see and take to heart, will be a free event on October 16, 2022 at 6 p.m. at the Matilija Auditorium. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available on multiple screens. However, due to the limited size of the auditorium, only Ojai Valley residents can be accommodated.

The Santa Fe Opera will present the world premiere of This Little Light of Mine, a new opera about the life of voting rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer. The one-act opera is composed by Chandler Carter with libretto by Diana Solomon-Glover. Under development since 2017, the piece is commissioned by the Santa Fe Opera and its Opera for All Voices (OFAV) consortium partners.
