TUNE IN AS MTV CELEBRATES THE NEW YEAR WITH COMEDIAN WHITNEY CUMMINGS, THE CAST OF JERSEY SHORE, AND A PERFORMANCE BY FLO RIDA.

MTV announced today the premiere of a live 90 minute special, 'New Year's Bash 2011' that will provide a comedic look back at 2010, as well as an extended sneak peek of the forthcoming season of Jersey Shore.

Ke$ha and Taio Cruz will perform live from Times Square on 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2011,' on Friday, December 31 on the ABC Television Network. Both will make their debut performances as Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest host the show live in New York with Times Square Correspondent Jenny McCarthy. In 2010 alone, Ke$ha has dominated the charts with five Billboard Hot 100 Top 10s. Her debut album Animal has been certified platinum, having sold over 1 million units in the U.S. and 2 million worldwide. Multi-platinum UK singer/songwriter/pop star Taio Cruz's debut album, Rokstarr, spawned not one but two triple-platinum singles with 'Break Your Heart,' featuring Ludacris, and 'Dynamite.' 'Break Your Heart,' climbed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in March and made history as the biggest ever jump to No. 1 by a newcomer to the chart.

This year, the show will celebrate the music, the influence and the artists from The South. Honorees Jermaine Dupri, J Prince of Rap-A-Lot Records, Luther 'Luke' Campbell, The 2 Live Crew, Master P, and Organized Noize will be honored through performances in collaboration with some of today's hottest talent. Hosted by Craig Robinson, '2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South' will tape from NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom and air on VH1 on Monday, June 7 at 9:00 PM ET/PT.
