DAMES AT SEA, now in previews, announces 'Tap Happy Tuesdays,' a chance each Tuesday evening for tap dancers to demonstrate their own original 30-second a cappella tap combination for Assistant Director & Choreographer Emily Morgan and everyone in Times Square.

Over 100 people mobbed the Helen Hayes Theatre, stopping traffic on West 44th Street for the box office opening of the musical comedy Dames at Sea yesterday, August 31. What caused the disturbance? Under the Broadway Theater's marquee, tap dancers were competing for a chance to tap on stage with the cast of Dames at Sea during a performance.

The box office for the first Broadway production of DAMES AT SEA will open Monday, August 31, 2015 at 10am at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 W. 44th Street, NYC).

Strength in Members, a consulting company based in Colorado, asked their employees what their dream would be if they had the money to make it come true. Theatre enthusiast Adriana DiFranco applied, writing, 'My dream would be...to dance on Broadway'.

Greenwich songs include some of the most popular songs of that decade: 'Chapel of Love', 'Be My Baby', 'And Then He Kissed Me', and 'Da Do Ron Ron' to name a few. The show runs from today, October 24 to November 2.

Children can learn how maple seeds transform from tiny, winged fruits to tall trees with Next Time You See a Maple Seed, a new book from NSTA Kids. The book explains what makes the seeds swirl through the air, what's inside their round ends, and how they grow.

Various special events have been announced to occur in conjunction with Red Branch Theatre Company's upcoming production of Dear Edwina. Parents' Night Out PJ Parties will take place on both Fridays.

Tickets have now been released for individual sale for Dear Edwina. This charming show-within-a-show chronicles Edwina Spoonapple's quest to woo a talent scout by giving musical advice for the neighborhood from her garage. She counsels her community of Paw Paw, Michigan on everyday etiquette through zany songs and dances produced by the Spoonapple Repertory Theatre. While Dear Edwina, Jr. is a favorite of school drama departments, the full version with adult actors is rarely produced. This production marks the area premiere of the fully staged production of this title, which received two Drama Desk Award Nominations for its Off-Broadway run in 2009.

Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, opens the second half of its 41st season with a musical comedy 'Me and My Girl' and an Agatha Christie murder mystery, 'A Murder is Announced.'
