Tait Ruppert from Maplewood marks his Chatham Players directorial debut with directing this play. “Donald Margulies’ brilliant play illustrates the sometimes hidden travails, traumas and joys of moving from one phase of life to another” Ruppert added.

The Chatham Community Players hosts its 27th annual Jersey Voices One-Act Festival. This year's production includes seven original short plays written by New Jersey playwrights.

The Muse Collective will stream the world premiere of Peter Gray’s THE KARENS beginning August 13, 2021. Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater will present Shipwrecked! An Entertainment—The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougemont (as Told by Himself) by Donald Margulies, directed by Daisy Walker and starring Rodney Witherspoon II, Jackie Davis, and Jackson Goldberg. Performances are June 30 – July 25 at 7:00 p.m.

It was just announced by the Pulitzer Prize organization that Katori Hall's The Hot Wing King has officially won the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This year's finalists included Circle Jerk by Michael Breslin and Patrick Foley and Stew by Zora Howard.

Michael Ritchie announced that he will retire as Artistic Director of Center Theatre Group on December 31, 2021. Having taken over the position from Founding Artistic Director Gordon Davidson in January, 2005, for more than 16 years, Ritchie has led one of the country’s largest nonprofit regional theatres, producing and presenting 266 productions.

Theatre Tuscaloosa has been chosen to present its production of Love and Cheese Toast, by Cooper Shattuck, at Virtual AACTFest 2021, the National Community Theatre Festival, June 14-20, 2021.
