VIP Ignite and Joe Stern will host a star-studded benefit performance of Robert Galinsky's powerful Off-Broadway solo show The Bench as a benefit for A Million Drops Learning Center of Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 20th, at 8 pm at Los Angeles's Matrix Theatre located at 7657 Melrose Ave, 90046.

As Shakespeare in Action prepares to open their inaugural outdoor production of A Midsummer Night's Dream in the Weston community, news of recent carding by the Canadian Border Service Agency in the area has spurred the company to spotlight this issue. 

Shakespeare in Action continues its inaugural season as Weston's resident theatre company with Shakespeare in the Shell! This season the hilariously beautiful A Midsummer Night's Dream will take place under the open sky and play July 16-28 in Little Avenue Memorial Park in Weston. All performances are FREE, thereby fulfilling S.I.A.'s longtime wish of bringing truly accessible theatre to the previously underserved community of northwest Toronto.

The Off-Broadway and West Coast hit, The Bench written by and starring Robert Galinsky, directed by Jay O. Sanders, has partnered with The STAGE Network for a live filming of the play taking place at The Triad on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 beginning at 12pm, tickets are FREE an available at EventBrite.com.

Factory presents its 49th Season "Canada at Your Doorstep," six provocative works in the Mainspace that challenge and interrogate popular narratives of Canadian identity. The 2018-2019 season begins with the return of Dora Award-winning playwright Anosh Irani(Bombay Black) to Factory, and the Toronto premiere of his latest play, THE MEN IN WHITE, directed by Philip Akin.

In celebration of the history and scope of Indian dance in America, From the Horse's Mouth will dedicate its next theater/dance performance event to this storied art form, including its early connections to Ruth St. Denis, Ted Shawn, Jack Cole, and the fascinating early Indian dancers in America Balasaraswati, Ragini Devi, Indrani, and many more. Live music will be included in this colorful tribute, curated by Rajika Puri, doyenne of Indian Dance in NYC.

After being presented by John Schaefer and WNYC's New Sounds Live at the Merkin Concert Hall, and then traveling the world, the iconoclastic post-modern musical oratorio, "A Night at the Old Marketplace," returns to New York for the premiere of an enhanced full-length version fusing music, projections and storytelling.
