Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) is proud to announce that Atlantic Theater Company members Larry Bryggman and Matt McGrath and guest artists Lisa Emery, Rebecca Henderson and Darren Pettie will star in its first main stage production of the 2010-2011 season, THE COLLECTION & A KIND OF ALASKA: TWO PLAYS BY HAROLD PINTER, directed by Atlantic founding member Karen Kohlhaas.

Shannon to Lead Wright's MISTAKES WERE MADE at Barrow Street; Opens 11/14

Producers Scott Morfee, Jean Doumanian and Tom Wirtshafter, who presented the critically acclaimed landmark production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town, will next present the New York premiere of the new comedy, Mistakes Were Made, by Craig Wright with direction by Dexter Bullard. The two-character play features Academy Award-nominee Michael Shannon as producer Felix Artifex and Mierka Girten as his assistant Esther, and reunites the creative team of the Off-Broadway smash hit Bug (Bullard, Shannon and Barrow Street). The 16- week limited engagement will begin performances Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre. Opening night is set for Sunday evening, November 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

American Theater Company announces the addition of new performance dates for its hit productions of David Mamet's Oleanna and Speed-the-Plow, directed by Steppenwolf Ensemble Member Rick Snyder. Both productions have been extended through October 31, 2010 and are now playing in repertory at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron in Chicago.

In their fifth annual CPS Shakespeare! collaboration, Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST) artists and an ensemble of 30 students and teachers from ten Chicago Public Schools (CPS) are breaking down language barriers and promoting critical literacy with an adaptation of William Shakespeare's iconic Romeo and Juliet. CPS Shakespeare! brings together a diverse group of students from CPS high schools across Chicago in a collaborative process that provides training with a team of theater professionals, including text coaches and a fight choreographer. The script, adapted by Director Kirsten Kelly, includes portions of verse in Spanish to represent the diversity of the ensemble and Chicago community. CPS Shakespeare! Romeo and Juliet is performed on the same set designed for CST's current full-length production of Romeo and Juliet in the Courtyard Theater.

Pritchard's WASTED IN JACKSON Set For 10/26 Release

Universal Republic will release Lauren Pritchard's debut album, Wasted in Jackson, on October 26th. As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Ian Rickson will direct Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss in Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour due to open in the West End in early 2011 for a limited run that will shutter in the spring. The New York Times suggests today that the production could be bound for Broadway in the fall of 2011, taking a hiatus to accommodate Knightley and Mosses respective filming schedules next summer.

Though his staff has thrown in the towel and his wife has begun to prepare for her post-White House life, Chuck isn't ready to give up just yet. Amidst the biggest fight of his political career, the President has to find time to pardon a couple of turkeys - saving them from the slaughter before Thanksgiving - and this simple PR event inspires Smith to risk it all in attempt to win back public support.
