Academy Award nominee Ruth Negga is currently making her American theatrical debut in a passionate, critically acclaimed portrayal of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, directed by Yael Farber and featuring an ensemble of leading Irish actors. With Farber's direction, the focus moves from Hamlet's anguish and identity to the power of resistance against treachery and the raw usurpation of power. The production, which began on February 1, 2020, was extended for an additional week, and will now play through March 8, 2020.

The production stars Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Rose Byrne (Damages, Bridesmaids, Get Him to the Greek, You Can't Take It with You) and two-time Emmy winner and Tony nominee Bobby Cannavale (Mauritius, The Motherf-er with the Hat). Produced by BAM, Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, and David Lan, it comes to BAM in its US premiere.

The iconoclastic British singer Barb Jungr returns to New York for the US premiere of 'Bob, Brel and Me,' her latest live-show-and-recording project, in an exclusive two-night engagement at Joe's Pub in February. Jungr performs songs from her new album, which released in the UK in September to sterling reviews, on Friday and Saturday February 14 & 15, both at 7pm. With Mark Hartman on piano, this is Jungr's first Joe's Pub appearance since July 2018. She began appearing at the club in 2003.
