Today's big news: RIDE THE CYCLONE begins tonight at MCC Theater!

Maberry Theatricals has announced that two-time Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell will take the stage for one-night-only in WHITE RABBIT RED RABBIT, the internationally-acclaimed play by Nassim Soleimanpour, on Monday, November 28, 2016.

GLEE alum Darren Criss is developing a musical workplace comedy to be titled ROYALTIES for the FOX network.

Just last night, Tectonic Theater Project celebrated Tectonic At 25!, a benefit performance celebrating 25 years of groundbreaking theater. According to showbiz411, John Cameron Mitchell and Darren Criss have made some updates to Hedwig and the Angry Inch to reflect the climate of the current election season. Throughout the show, Hedwig ad-libs and interacts with the audience, and on opening night of the tour at the Pantages in LA, Criss turned Hedwig's acerbic wit on Donald Trump.

Tony Award Winner Lena Hall is currently taking the Hedwig and the Angry Inch tour by storm, pulling double-duty as Yitzhak, that role that earned her a Tony, for six performances a week, and stepping into the shoes of the title character once a week. In a Billboard review released yesterday, Hall spoke about the experience of switching between the two characters, and how she came to decide to step back into the show that changed her life.

Lena Hall is reprising her Tony Award-winning performance as Yitzhak in the National Tour of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival, in performances at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco (through October 30, 2016) and the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles (November 1-27, 2016), opposite Darren Criss. In a groundbreaking twist, she'll also play the role of Hedwig for one performance a week in San Francisco and Los Angeles. It is a rare occasion for a Tony Award winner to go on national tour, and historic for the same person to play both Hedwig and Yitzhak.
