The Actors Company Theatre (Scott Alan Evans, Artistic Executive Director; Nora Chester & Jeffrey C. Hawkins, Associate Artistic Directors), the award-winning Off-Broadway company celebrating its 25th Anniversary Season, is presenting Three Wise Guys, the World Premiere of a new comedy by Scott Alan Evans & Jeffrey Couchman, based on Damon Runyon's short stories, 'Dancing Dan's Christmas' and 'The Three Wise Guys.'  Opening Night is Sunday March 11th.

I played Sky Masterson of Guys and Dolls and sang a duet of 'I've Never Been In Love Before'. I came to realize quite rapidly how lovely his music is and how well he manages to capture the moment of genuine emotion within a song. Upon seeing Guys and Dolls several times since, I have been awestruck as well by Abe Burrows' and Joe Swerling's ability to take Damon Runyon's New York Broadway characters from the 20s and 30s and blow them up into something overwhelmingly moving and appealing. The two worlds of sin and redemption have never been connect

Perseverance Theatre is pleased to announce its 40th season, filled with classics, comedies, a classic musical, and exciting new work by and for Alaskans. This season brings characters from a wide range of backgrounds and places. Journey with us from the arctic in Whale Song to New York City in Guys and Dolls, to New England in Our Town, and London in A Christmas Carol (Anchorage), with stops in a contemporary high school in Teenage Dick, a research expedition into the Northwest Passage in Franklin, and 19th century Germany in Steve Martin's hilarious adaptation, The Underpants (Juneau). Gangsters and gamblers, missionary dolls, and showgirls turn the gamble of love into a high-energy musical when Musical Theatre West presents five-time Tony Award-winning musical Guys and Dolls, February 16 - March 4 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center. Based on the stories and characters by Damon Runyon, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, the show tops Entertainment Weekly's list of "The Greatest Musical of all Time." The Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Hamilton High School presents the classic musical Guys and Dolls, opening February 1 and running for ten performances through February 17 at the Norm Pattiz Theater, 2955 S. This Christmas director Michael Buffong transports the smash-hit musical GUYS AND DOLLS up-town to 1939 Harlem in the UK's first all-Black cast production of this iconic show.
