Broadway quadruple threat and Bistro Award winner, Robert Creighton, recently seen as the title character in the critically lauded CAGNEY at The York Theatre Company, returns to 54 Below on Tuesday, September 15th at 7pm with AN EVENING WITH ROBERT CREIGHTON.  Creighton, one of the busiest actors working in the musical theater, will sing his favorite music from the early decades of the 20th Century, along with his original songs.

Paper Mill Playhouse will open its 2015-2016 season with the world premiere musical The Bandstand. As previously announced, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes (Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, Bonnie and Clyde), Corey Cott (Newsies, Gigi) and Tony Award winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone, 42nd Street) will star in The Bandstand.

 On Monday, September 28, 2015, Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Aaron Lazar will perform in "A Cabaret Evening" at 54 Below, located at 254 West 54th Street. The evening is a joint benefit in support of The New York Pops PopsEd Programs and Ronald McDonald House® New York. The two organizations partner to provide music education programs that serve as creative outlets for the children and families in residence. Hosted by Steven Reineke, Music Director of The New York Pops, the benefit will start with a champagne reception at 5:30PM followed by dinner and performance at 6:30PM.

Katie Thompson (Pump Boys & Dinettes, Giant) - joins Charlotte Jaconelli for her New York Debut at 54 BELOW on Saturday, September 5th at 7:00pm.

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Linda Shelton Executive Director, proudly kicks-off its 2015 fall season on September 22 with a world premiere by Camille A. Brown & Dancers. The work, BLACK GIRL: Linguistic Play, will be performed by an all-female cast during the company's week-long engagement at The Joyce, which runs through September 27. The Stargate Theatre Company, a project of Manhattan Theatre Club's Education Department will perform an original piece, Deeper Than Skin, this Saturday, August 22nd at 3:00PM and 7:00PM at MTC- Stage II at New York City Center (131 W. 55th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues). Each performance will last approximately forty-five minutes and will be followed by a talkback onstage with the performer-writers.  After the 7:00PM talkback, there will be a brief reception in the theatre lobby. 

ROLEX presents Career Transition For Dancers' 30TH ANNIVERSARY PEARL JUBILEE: A STAR-STUDDED RETROSPECTIVE on Monday, September 28, at 7:00 pm in association with the Lloyd E. Rigler - Lawrence E. Deutsch Foundation, at New York City Center, 131 West 55 Street (btwn. 6  & 7  Aves) NYC followed by "Supper With The Stars" at The Grand Ballroom at The Hilton New York.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, presents the Southern California regional premiere of Georges Feydeau's classic French farce, A Flea in Her Ear - considered the greatest of French farces -- in a new version written by David Ives. Directed by Julia Rodriguez-Elliott, the show begins previews on September 6 and plays through November 22, 2015 (opens on September 12). Flea is the first production in A Noise Within's 2015-2016 BREAKING & ENTERING season, and is followed by the world premiere translation/adaptation of Jean Anouilh's Antigone by Robertson Dean (September 20 to November 20) and All My Sons by Arthur Miller, the Company's contribution to the global Miller Centennial Celebration(October 11-November 21).

New York City Center today announced three diverse dance engagements which complete programming for the 2015-16 season.

Among them, the company can claim 18 Tony Awards, 4 Pulitzer Prizes, 6 Pulitzer finalist distinctions, 3 Emmy Awards, and 2 Academy Awards; to list all their honors would take several pages.

Liz Gerring, the 2015 Jacob's Pillow Dance Award winner and artistic director of Liz Gerring Dance Company, returns to Jacob's Pillow for her company's performances of glacier, August 19-23 in the Doris Duke Theatre. Gerring has garnered praise by dance enthusiasts and critics alike for her abstract choreographic style and keen use of musical and visual elements.

Berkeley Rep has announced the full company for its 2015-16 season opener Amelie, A New Musical, starring award-winning actress Samantha Barks.

Man Down Productions reunites director, Andrew Block (Ovation Award, Small Engine Repair) and playwright Mark Jason Williams for the 19th Annual New York International Fringe Festival, with award-winning drama, Straight Faced Lies. A highlighted production of the festival, Straight Faced Lies will play at The Teatro LATEA at the Clemente (107 Suffolk St) beginning tonight, August 14 - Thursday, August 27, 2015.
