59E59 Theaters is currently presenting the NYC premiere of Hal & Bee written by Max Baker and directed by Sarah Norris. The play portrays the trials of a long-time married couple and reveals their conflicts. With a stellar cast and excellent staging, this entertaining dark comedy is very thought provoking and has a broad audience appeal.

Produced by Stable Cable Lab Co. and New Light Theater Project, HAL & BEE begins performances on Saturday, March 10 for a limited engagement through Saturday, March 31. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 7:30 PM; Saturday at 7:30 PM; and Sunday at 2:30 PM. There are added matinee performances on Saturday, March 10 and Saturday, March 31 at 2:30 PM. Performances are at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison). Single tickets are $25 ($20 for 59E59 Members). But when you're an assassin, being uninspired means getting sloppy, and getting sloppy means getting killed. Kill Local is a pitch-black comedy about blood ties, revenge and trying to get unstuck - especially when your life is dedicated to ending others'.

The 7th Annual Shakespeare's Birthday Sonnet Slam will be held Friday, April 21st from 1-4pm at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park and will feature 154 readers of all ages and abilities performing all 154 of Shakespeare's Sonnets in numerical order. The event is free to the public. This year, the kickoff Reader for Sonnet #1 will be Maulik Pancholy (30 Rock, Weeds) who appears on the upcoming CBS series Star Trek: Discovery.
