2Cents Theatre Group Presents LEAR/LOMAN At The 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival

2Cents Theatre Group's 2019 Best of INK @Fringe production, Lear/Loman by Kate Schwartz, will play four more performances at the Broadwater Main Stage. Featuring Leon Russom as King Lear and Bruno Oliver as Willy Loman, the cast will also include (in alphabetical order) Lauran Dewey, Tim Kopacz, Heather Roberts, Sarah Schulte, and Ruben Uy. Under the direction of Scott Leggett, the remaining performances are Saturday 6/15 at 11:30am; Thursday 6/20 at 5pm; Saturday 6/22 at midnight; and Sunday 6/30 at 1:30pm. Running time is 60 minutes.

Kimmel Center Cultural Campus Presents 9th Annual Free Organ Day

The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus, in association with the Philadelphia Chapter of The American Guild of Organists (AGO), is proud to present the 9th Annual FREE Organ Day, a six-hour marathon of FREE organ music performed on The Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ, taking place on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Audiences of all ages are invited to explore the largest mechanical pipe organ in a concert venue in the United States, through a diverse lineup of programming tailored to include something for everyone. Audience members are invited to attend for any-and-all portions of the day. Also, don't miss Organ Pumps, where audience members are invited to lie on the stage of Verizon Hall and feel the powerful vibrations of the organ!

A storyline we can all relate to, this show is jam-packed full of cool stunts, acrobatic flips, unicycles, juggling, and the infamous toilet paper guns. In this award-winning comedy circus show, highly-trained clowns perform death-defying stunts the whole family will love! Chores is at the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2019, with performances at 11:30am and 2:00pm.

Mischief Theatre, the multi award-winning theatre company responsible for the worldwide smash hit The Play That Goes Wrong, today announces a new national tour of their other West End comedy calamity, Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Opening at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham on Saturday 19 October 2019, the production will tour to over 15 venues nationwide through to Spring 2020, including a Christmas season at Alexandra Palace Theatre in London from Friday 13 December 2019 to Sunday 5 January 2020. Miramax to Produce SILENT RETREAT with Todd Strauss-Schulson and Matt Fogel

Miramax is joining forces with Todd Strauss-Schulson (ISN'T IT ROMANTIC/THE FINAL GIRLS) and Matt Fogel (THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART) on their next project, SILENT RETREAT. The film will be directed by Strauss-Schulson and was written by both Fogel and Strauss Schulson. Pre-production has started and it will shoot in late Spring/early Summer supervised by Matthew Anderson at Miramax.

Wheaton Drama Brings Silent Film To Life

Wheaton Drama will present the second show of their 2018-2019 season, 'Silent Laughter' by Billy Van Zandt & Jane Milmore. An homage to the slapstick days of early silent movies, 'Silent Laughter' is the story of Billy, a hapless schnook in New York, 1917. Not just a retread of pie fights and pratfalls (although they are certainly present), 'Silent Laughter'takes up the challenge of presenting death-defying Buster Keaton/Charlie Chaplin/Harold Lloyd style gags, with a bit of Laurel & Hardy and Musty Suffer.
