Julien's Auctions, the world-record breaking auction house, held its two-day marquee Hollywood auction event, LEGENDS June 13-14, 2019 at The Standard Oil Building in Beverly Hills in front of a buzzing crowd of collectors and fans bidding live on the floor, online and on the phone across the globe.

2Cents Theatre Group's 2019 Best of INK @Fringe production, Lear/Loman by Kate Schwartz, will play four more performances at the Broadwater Main Stage. Featuring Leon Russom as King Lear and Bruno Oliver as Willy Loman, the cast will also include (in alphabetical order) Lauran Dewey, Tim Kopacz, Heather Roberts, Sarah Schulte, and Ruben Uy. Under the direction of Scott Leggett, the remaining performances are Saturday 6/15 at 11:30am; Thursday 6/20 at 5pm; Saturday 6/22 at midnight; and Sunday 6/30 at 1:30pm. Running time is 60 minutes.

The Kimmel Center Cultural Campus, in association with the Philadelphia Chapter of The American Guild of Organists (AGO), is proud to present the 9th Annual FREE Organ Day, a six-hour marathon of FREE organ music performed on The Fred J. Cooper Memorial Organ, taking place on Saturday, June 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Audiences of all ages are invited to explore the largest mechanical pipe organ in a concert venue in the United States, through a diverse lineup of programming tailored to include something for everyone. Audience members are invited to attend for any-and-all portions of the day. A storyline we can all relate to, this show is jam-packed full of cool stunts, acrobatic flips, unicycles, juggling, and the infamous toilet paper guns. In this award-winning comedy circus show, highly-trained clowns perform death-defying stunts the whole family will love! Chores is at the Pavilion Theatre on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 July 2019, with performances at 11:30am and 2:00pm.

Today, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts announced two performances in the 2019-2020 Kauffman Center Presents series.

After sold-out seasons at Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes in 2018, Chores is coming back to the UK for a new tour which includes two shows at Storyhouse in Chester.

Mischief Theatre, the multi award-winning theatre company responsible for the worldwide smash hit The Play That Goes Wrong, today announces a new national tour of their other West End comedy calamity, Peter Pan Goes Wrong. Opening at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham on Saturday 19 October 2019, the production will tour to over 15 venues nationwide through to Spring 2020, including a Christmas season at Alexandra Palace Theatre in London from Friday 13 December 2019 to Sunday 5 January 2020. Tickets for Alexandra Palace Theatre go on sale from today.

Physical Theater Festival Chicago organizers have revealed a second wave of international live theater acts ready to delight Chicago and defy all norms, to complete the 2019 festival's nine-day line-up, May 31-June 8 at Chicago's Stage 773.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts today announced this summer's Mostly Mozart Festival, running from July 10 through August 10, 2019. Harnessing Mozart's innovative spirit as its inspiration, the 2019 festival builds upon the expanded scope established last summer with groundbreaking, international multidisciplinary productions, acclaimed artists of all genres, introductions to emerging creative voices, commissions and premieres, and the presentation of new work and ideas. American Express is the lead sponsor of the Mostly Mozart Festival.

PHILADELPHIA FringeArts and Circadium School of Contemporary Circus will present the second annual Hand to Hand circus festival this June 28 July 1 at FringeArts. The multi-day fest features internationally-celebrated Compagnia Baccal and new acts by Philadelphia's most talented up-and-coming circus artists. Performances and workshops include acrobatics, aerials, clowning, juggling, and more.

Following critically acclaimed, sold-out performances with the Joffrey Ballet and English National Ballet, the Chicago Philharmonic returns to the North Shore to present another unforgettable multimedia production combining film and classical music. Featuring fresh new soundtracks by Tom Nazziola, a prolific composer and conductor best known for his work on film, television and musicals, Silent Sherlock will astound and entertain audiences at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie this March.   

Miramax is joining forces with Todd Strauss-Schulson (ISN'T IT ROMANTIC/THE FINAL GIRLS) and Matt Fogel (THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART) on their next project, SILENT RETREAT. The film will be directed by Strauss-Schulson and was written by both Fogel and Strauss Schulson. Pre-production has started and it will shoot in late Spring/early Summer supervised by Matthew Anderson at Miramax.

One of the silver screen's most popular musicals, Singin' in the Rain comes to the stage of Woodbury's Arts Center of Cannon County with all the trappings of a box office smash: memorable score, talented actors and enough technical razzle-dazzle to delight even the most discerning of theater-goers. Opening February 8 (and continuing through February 23) at ACCC, the stage musical stars Austin Jeffrey Smith, Lindsey Mapes Duggin and Daxton Patrick in the film roles immortalized by Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O'Connor in the award-winning 1952 film version.

The team behind the critically acclaimed, sold out UK premiere of Stephen Sondheim's The Frogs, adapted by Nathan Lane at Jermyn Street Theatre, are to present a new production of the hit Broadway musical Once Upon A Mattress.

Singer/songwriter Bill Frisell performs music from his newest pop culture-inspired project at Pepperdine University's Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Tuesday, January 22 at 8 p.m.  

In the genre-hopping, rules-free universe of Hunky Boys Go Ding-Dong, a trio of true idiots embark on impossible, sometimes lethal adventures where moments shift from knee-slapping to head-scratching to heart-breaking in seconds. Just as in real life, anarchic mayhem blends with slapstick comedy and shocking moments of violence and truth. The Hunky Boys travel deep into darkness and infinitely into insanity, all through the inescapable thread of humanity's unique and pathetic blend of loneliness, pain, failure and stupidity.

Wheaton Drama will present the second show of their 2018-2019 season, 'Silent Laughter' by Billy Van Zandt & Jane Milmore. An homage to the slapstick days of early silent movies, 'Silent Laughter' is the story of Billy, a hapless schnook in New York, 1917. Not just a retread of pie fights and pratfalls (although they are certainly present), 'Silent Laughter'takes up the challenge of presenting death-defying Buster Keaton/Charlie Chaplin/Harold Lloyd style gags, with a bit of Laurel & Hardy and Musty Suffer.
