FACE THE NATION placed first in viewers, adults 25-54 - the demographic most important to those who advertise in News - and households on Sunday, Feb. 17. The CBS broadcast posted 3.39m viewers, 0.8/03 in adults 25-54 and a 2.4/06 in households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings. Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 56% of the CBS affiliates.

CBS EVENING NEWS Anchor and Managing Editor Scott Pelley will broadcast live from Washington, D.C., for primetime coverage of President Barack Obama's 2013 State of the Union address and the Republican Response on Tuesday, Feb. 12 (9:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. He will also anchor the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY (6:30-7:00 PM, ET) live from Washington, D.C., on Tuesday, Feb. 12. Additionally, Pelley will conduct a broad-ranging interview with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) for the broadcast.

In fourth quarter 2012 (most current), CBS News' FACE THE NATION WITH BOB SCHIEFFER finished first in both households and viewers in a fourth quarter for the first time since the advent of people meters (at least August 1987). FACE THE NATION is also up +14% in both households (2.4/06 from 2.1/05) and viewers (3.28m from 2.89m) and even in adults 25-54 (0.8/03) compared to fourth quarter 2011. FACE THE NATION posted its best fourth quarter deliveries in households since 2001, in viewers since 1992 and matched last year's adults 25-54 fourth quarter delivery.
