LINES by Terence Patrick Hughes (Finding the Rooster at 13th Street Rep) is a gripping new play about race and humanity set in a fictional yet familiar country where a line has been laid down, separating blacks and whites. The production will be directed by Horse Trade Theater Group Artistic Director Heidi Grumelot (Donnie and the Monsters; PunkRockLoveSong) and presented by Horse Trade Theatre in association with Ice & Fire Theatre of London.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.denvercenter.org, by phone at 303.893.4100 (TTY 303.893.9582) or at the Denver Center Ticket Services in the lobby of the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex, Mon - Sat from 10am to 6pm. Special hours on Sunday, August 14 are from 10am to 2pm at the walkup counter in the Helen Bonfils Theatre Complex. Phone agents will also take calls during this time.

Wes Driver directs a thoroughly charming and beautifully acted revival of G.K. Chesterton's first play, Magic, now onstage at the Shamblin Theatre on the David Lipscomb University campus in a sumptuously appointed production from Blackbird Theatre Company. Featuring a stellar cast of Nashville stage professionals, Magic might best be described as a gentle drawing-room comedy from the post-Edwardian period (it debuted in 1913) that somehow remains relevant and intriguing almost 100 years after its premiere.

AS YOU LIKE IT, PYGMALION, et al. Set for Seattle Shakespeare Co's Upcoming Season

Seattle Shakespeare Company announced plans to produce half its season at Intiman Playhouse and half its season at Center House Theatre for 2011-2012. A Midsummer Night's Dream and Pygmalion will be performed at Intiman Playhouse, while Coriolanus and As You Like It will be performed at Center House Theatre. Also, the previously announced performance dates for As You Like It have changed to May 30 through June 24.
