Seattle Shakespeare Company announced plans to produce half its season at Intiman Playhouse and half its season at Center House Theatre for 2011-2012. A Midsummer Night's Dream and Pygmalion will be performed at Intiman Playhouse, while Coriolanus and As You Like It will be performed at Center House Theatre. Also, the previously announced performance dates for As You Like It have changed to May 30 through June 24.
"By presenting two shows at Intiman next season, we're hoping to build upon last year's success," said interim artistic director George Mount who will direct As You Like It. "Even though it will be stretch for us to produce two shows in the larger venue, step by step we're positioning Seattle Shakespeare Company as the area's pre-eminent producer of classical theatre."Seattle Shakespeare Company's 2011-2012 season starts with Shakespeare's popular comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream in October directed by Shelia Daniels.
