Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT), concludes its 2011 Nutmeg Summer Series with My Fair Lady, closing July 17 in the Harriett S. Jorgensen Theatre (lower Jorgensen Auditorium) on the UConn Storrs campus.

Michael Donald Edwards, Producing Artistic Director of Asolo Repertory Theatre and Steven High, Executive Director of The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art announced today that a co-production of John Logan's Tony Award winning drama, Red will play March 30-April 22, 2012 in the Ringling Museum's Historic Asolo Theater.

Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced the complete cast and creative team for the West Coast Premiere of John Morogiello's comedy Engaging Shaw. Directed by Henry Wishcamper, Engaging Shaw will run July 29 - Sept. 4 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run July 29 - Aug. 3. Jorgensen Theatre (lower Jorgensen Auditorium) on the UConn Storrs campus. The preview performance takes places tonight, Thursday, July 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Opening Night is tomorrow, Friday, June 17 at 8:00 p.m.

LINES by Terence Patrick Hughes (Finding the Rooster at 13th Street Rep) is a gripping new play about race and humanity set in a fictional yet familiar country where a line has been laid down, separating blacks and whites. The production will be directed by Horse Trade Theater Group Artistic Director Heidi Grumelot (Donnie and the Monsters; PunkRockLoveSong) and presented by Horse Trade Theatre in association with Ice & Fire Theatre of London.
