Robo & Bash Productions presents ROPE, A Play by Patrick Hamilton, taking place at the Avery Schreiber Playhouse in North Hollywood. Directed by Anna Safar, this production will open December 7th, 2018, and will play Friday through Sunday for two weekends, closing December 16th, 2018. Showtime on Fridays and Saturdays will be at 8pm, and Sundays at 7pm.

From Joanne Mosconi, the Co-Writer/Director of the Off- Broadway hit Marry, F*** or Kill, comes the New York City premiere of the fast-paced dramedy You Love That I'm NOT Your Wife running November 3-18, 2017 at The Steve and Marie Sgouros Theatre in Greenwich Village, New York. "GROUP", a play about PTSD will premiere at the Avery Schreiber Playhouse in the NoHo Arts District during PTSD Awareness month. The story takes place in a group therapy session, during which a handful of characters explore their individual trauma. Guided by a caring therapist with his own issues, 5 victims of trauma must work through their struggles to discover that their perceptions of each other and themselves are not always what they seem. This play addresses issues relating to veterans, domestic abuse, racism, and gender identity.

Revolutionizing the live musical theater experience, the acclaimed company For The Record makes its triumphant return to Los Angeles in a new production, For The Record: Scorsese - American Crime Requiem. This new show will bring the legendary filmmaker's soundtracks to life in a new generation cabaret from September 21 through October 16 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Jack-O-Laughter plays Saturdays in October, starting Oct. 10 from 2-3 p.m. at The Sherry Theater on Magnolia in the heart of the NoHo Arts District. Now she is onstage once more in a hilarious world premiere dark comedy Miserable with an Ocean View playing Saturdays only at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks. She recently sat down to chat about the play and about highlights of her long career.

Think quirky like Moonstruck, only transplant the action from New York to Los Angeles and replace the large Italian Family with a dysfunctional community of friends and their current significant others. For those that have forgotten Moonstruck it was a hit movie in 1987 in which relationships were turned upside down, inside out under the spell of a full moon, creating odd, unpredictable sexual entanglements. It's not John Patrick Shanley but Joanne Mosconi who has written You Love That I'm Not Your Wife, and with a kooky title like that, something's got to give comedically. Now onstage in NoHo at the Avery Schreiber Playhouse, Wife is a crowd-pleaser with miles of heart, 10 very likable characters as well as the actors playing them.. under the direction of the playwright who really knows how to keep the pacing fast and bright and to stage action fully within the confines of a minimal space.
