Bill Skarsgard has been cast as a series regular on Hulu's CASTLE ROCK. Skarsgard (It, Atomic Blonde, Assassination Nation) will appear as a series regular, playing a young man with an unusual legal problem.

Sissy Spacek and Jane Levy have joined the cast of Hulu's CASTLE ROCK. Spacek will play Ruth Deaver, estranged adoptive mother of Henry (Andre Holland), a retired professor whose fading memories may hold a key to Castle Rock's unsettling past.

The Ailey Spirit Gala broke records last night as the centerpiece of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's 2017 Lincoln Center engagement, led by Artistic Director Robert Battle. With a record-breaking $1.4 million raised, the one-night-only benefit performance and party featured Honorary Chair Andre Holland, critically-acclaimed actor of the 2017 Oscar Best Picture Moonlight. The evening honored Ailey Board Vice Chairman Stephen Meringoff for his longtime support of Ailey, and his instrumental role in strengthening and sustaining AileyCamp. Gala Co-Chairs were Lynne & Anthony M. Carvette, Almaz & Marc S. Strachan, and Daria L. & Eric J. Wallach; and Vice Chairs were Michele & Timothy Barakett, Dr. N. Anthony & Robyn Coles, Jaishri & Vikas Kapoor, Ricki Lander, Leslie & Tom Maheras, and Pamela D. Zilly & John H. Schaefer. The funds raised support Ailey's extensive educational programs for young people, including AileyCamp and scholarships to The Ailey School.

Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater. 

The centerpiece of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's Lincoln Center engagement is The Ailey Spirit Gala on Thursday, June 15th. Critically-acclaimed actor Andre Holland, who most recently appeared in the eight-time Oscar-nominated film Moonlight, has just been announced as Honorary Chair. Holland will be seen in the upcoming Ava DuVernay film A Wrinkle in Time and Hulu's Castle Rock, produced by J.J. Abrams.

André Holland, who recently starred in August Wilson's JITNEY on Broadway, has landed the lead role in Hulu's upcoming original series CASTLE ROCK.

According to Variety, Liam Neeson is currently expected to join Viola Davis in the upcoming thriller WIDOWS. Neeson is a two-time Tony award nominee who was last seen on Broadway in 2002 in THE CRUCIBLE.

When August Wilson's Jitney had its 1982 world premiere at Pittsburgh's Allegheny Repertory Theatre, there were no plans for it to serve as 1/10th of the greatest achievement in American drama. But by the time a revised version of that script opened Off-Broadway in 2000, six of the plays that would each represent a decade in his American Century Cycle had made it to Broadway and Wilson was firmly established as one the country's great playwrights.

Only one of the ten plays in two-time Pulitzer Prize winner August Wilson's masterful The American Century Cycle has never been seen on Broadway - until now.
