The Argyle Theatre continues its 2nd season with the award-winning musical Legally Blonde with music and lyrics by Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe, book by Heather Hach, based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name.

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands.

Omigod you guys! Cortland Repertory Theatre is now entertaining audiences with the super-fun musical comedy Legally Blonde at their picturesque summer location at the Little York Pavilion in Preble, New York. Ormston, Jenna Smith, Jason Steele, Jennifer Steele and Carlos Strudwick. The musical has been produced numerous times by local groups in Norway in recent years, but producer Lars Christian Wahlberg, who produced Shrek - The Musical last year to great acclaim, has big ambitions for this production. 'This will be the biggest production of Legally Blonde in Norway to date,' he promises.

Songwriters from around the world will now have until 5.00pm AEST 2 May to enter the2019 Vanda & Young Global Songwriting Competition. The competition's closing date has been extended as entries come from as far as Bulgaria, Brazil, Nigeria, Latvia and beyond.

For the first time ever live, The Killers performed their latest single "Land Of The Free" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. The performance opened a week of shows live from the Vegas strip for Jimmy Kimmel Live! The Killers were backed by a choir which was comprised of students from the Vegas high schools attended by band members Brandon Flowers, Ronnie Vannucci, Mark Stoermer, and Jimmy Kimmel.

In 1948, Grosse Pointe Theatre staged their inaugural show, Clarence by Booth Tarkington at Pierce Auditorium.

The Killers have unveiled a new stand alone song 'Land Of The Free' with a video by Academy Award-winning director Spike Lee. Recorded at their own Battle Born Studios in Las Vegas, Nevada and produced by Jacknife Lee, with additional gospel vocals by (vocal co-arranger) Lynn Mabry, Dorian Holley, Will Wheaton,Sherree Patrice Brown, Akasha Mabry and Killers' touring vocalists Amanda Brown, Danielle René Withers and Erica Canales.The Killers invited Spike Lee to make the video for the song, a heartfelt lament inspired by current events and recent national tragedies.

UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts Department of Drama opens its 2018-19 season, entitled "Against All Odds," with the irresistibly fun musical Legally Blonde at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Nell Benjamin and Laurence O'Keefe's 2007 Broadway hit, with a book by Heather Hach based on the Amanda Brown novel and movie of the same name, was nominated for multiple Tony Awards and won an award for Best Touring Musical in 2009. This story of Elle Woods' journey, which begins as a quest for love and ends as a story of personal transformation, cleverly embeds its message of empowerment in a pink and rollicking world of music, humor, and double entendre.
