LEGALLY BLONDE The Musical whipped up a pastel night of frivolous fun on stage at the Lied Center of Performing Arts on February 23. Based on the 2001 hit film starring Reese Witherspoon and Luke Wilson, the story is a woman fighting for footing in a previously all male dominated field of law.

The underrated monolith is galvanizing to topple a perverse establishment - and LEGALLY BLONDE, with its tongue-in-cheek, goofy affectations, is no less a clarion call for a political makeover. Whether or not the connection was a conscious part of the selection, the choice turns out to be a prescient one.

The original cast of Legally Blonde had a reunion this weekend, which included Laura Bell Bundy, Andy Karl, Orfeh, and many more, as well as the show's director Jerry Mitchell. Check out the video here!
