As BroadwayWorld reported late last week, ABC has cancelled Alan Menken and Glenn Slater's medieval musical comedy GALAVANT after two seasons. However, the network's decision hasn't deterred the show's most devoted fans, who have launched the #MoreGalavant online campaign. In appreciation of their movement, GALAVANT's cast has partnered up for a new music video. Check it out below!

Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC) presents the sci-fi smash musical Little Shop of Horrors on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. at THE BLACK BOX, FPAC's home and theater located at 15 West Central Street in downtown Franklin.

With its winning combination of incredibly acrobatic dancing, family-friendly comedy, engaging story, awesome singing, and dazzling showmanship, there is a lot to love with this show---whether you're 5 or 95. Heck, it certainly made a #Fansie out of me.

This past weekend, May 14-15, A Class Act NY, the award-winning acting studio for kids and teens, presented Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, JR. Riverside Children's Theatre (RCT), the educational arm of Riverside Theatre, will present six shows this summer that will delight and entertain the whole family. The months of June, July and August will feature some of the most talented young actors, singers, and dancers in the area as they perform a classic Disney film on stage, relive popular songs from the 1980's, and dance with a professional dance company.

Happy Birthday, Judy Kuhn! Kuhn made her Broadway debut was in The Mystery of Edwin Drood. She then played Cosette in the 1987 multiple award winning Broadway production of Les Miserables brought her the first Tony Award nomination. The following year, Kuhn took on a transfer from London's West End, playing one of the main roles (Florence Vassy) in the Trevor Nunn-directed Chess, with music by Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus (formerly of ABBA) and lyrics by Tim Rice. Later in 1993, Kuhn played the role of Betty Schaefer in the U.S premier production of Sunset Boulevard at the Shubert Theatre in Los Angeles. Kuhn sang the title role in the 1995 Disney animated film, Pocahontas, the film included her rendition of the song Colors of the Wind, which won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for its composers Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz. On October 23, 2007, Kuhn returned to the Broadway Production of Les Miserables after 20 years, but this time assuming the role of Fantine.

Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene (also known as Flynn Rider) from the hit Disney animated film TANGLED in a new series which will premiere in 2017 on Disney Channels around the world. The project will also reunite Disney Legend and Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater, who will compose new songs for the project.

Ahead of its West End premiere at the Prince Edward Theatre, rehearsal images for ALADDIN have been released today. The new Disney musical previews from May 27, opening on June 15, and is booking till October 1. Dean John-Wilson stars as Aladdin, alongside Jade Ewen as Jasmine, Broadway cast member Trevor Dion Nicholas as Genie, Don Gallagher as Jafar, Peter Howe as Iago, Irvine Iqbal as the Sultan, Nathan Amzi as Babkak, Stephen Rahman-Hughes as Kassim and Rachid Sabitri as Omar.

Disney Theatrical Productions' West End premiere of ALADDIN, based on the classic Academy Award-winning animated film, opens at the Prince Edward Theatre on Wednesday 15 June 2016, with previews from Friday 27 May.
