On June 15, 2016, The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will open Disney's Beauty and the Beast presented by Snyder Heating & Air Conditioning. The Alhambra   for menu please click logo traditionally stages a family-oriented show for its summer time period. The show will be theater's longest engagement of the year, running from June 15 through July 31. This summer the Alhambra is asking its guests to donate unused and unwrapped school supplies that will be collected by local not-for-profit group, Theatre on a Mission, and brought to schools in Kenya as part of its effort to help educate African youth through theatrical experience.

Casting has been announced for the Vancouver engagement of Disney's NEWSIES.   The Tony Award-winning production will begin performances at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Tuesday, July 5 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 10.

It's clear that the smart and savvy architects behind Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID Live In Concert To Film, the sold out presentation of Disney's 1989 animated classic THE LITTLE MERMAID at the 17,000-seat Hollywood Bowl have indeed created a wholly wonderful experience. Nashville's Circle Players unveils the first regional production of The Little Mermaid, the new musical that's sure to be on virtually every stage in Middle Tennessee in the next year. Lipscomb Academy grad Hatty King takes on the role of Ariel, under the direction of Brittany Blaire Andersen, who makes her Circle Players directorial debut with the production.

Hotel Nikko San Francisco and Michael Feinstein welcomes the four-time Tony Award nominee, Judy Kuhn, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances of her acclaimed show, Rodgers, Rodgers & Guettel, today, Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. and tomorrow, Saturday, June 4 at 7 p.m.

Playhouse on Park is thrilled to announce the 2016-17 Main Stage Season. 'We've chosen seven diverse productions that are sure to educate, entertain and challenge our audiences. The Fredericksburg Theater Company (FTC) is pleased to announce open enrollment for their summer youth program, Camp Freddyburg 2016. The camp runs July 5-31, with a two-day orientation session on June 28 and 29. The camp schedule and application can be found on FTC's Facebook page and website, www.fredericksburgtheater.org. Enrollment is limited and scholarships are available if needed. Along with Ms. Goff several other theater, music and dance instructors will teach classes. The deadline for early registration is June 27th.
