Aladdin, Disney's hit Broadway musical, recently released a new music video featuring Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) performing a one-man version of "One Jump Ahead" from the show. In the arrangement made exclusively for Jacobs' debut solo album, "Right Where I Belong - Songs of Alan Menken," Jacobs voices multiple characters, each playfully brought to life in the vibrant new video.

Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) invites audiences to fall in love this summer with Disney's Beauty and the Beast & West Side Story, running July 6 - August 20, 2016 at Stanley Park's picturesque Malkin Bowl. On alternating evenings, audiences will be swept away by these classic love stories - one, a beloved fairytale brimming with magic and mystery, and the other an electrifying story of forbidden love in the unforgiving streets of 1950's New York.

The Little Mermaid, described as "a hauntingly beautiful love story for the ages," closes out Circle Players' 2015-16 season with a June 3-19 run at Nashville's Z. Alexander Looby Theatre. Brittany Blaire Anderson directs and musical directs, with choreography by Bakari King and assistant musical direction by Kelsi Fulton. Hatty King stars as Ariel.

With 315 hours of rehearsals now complete; 68 tonnes of scenery hung at the Prince Edward Theatre; and 337 custom-designed, hand-made costumes created from over 1,225 varieties of fabric, adorned with millions of Swarovski crystals, Disney's new musical Aladdin will begin previews in the West End tonight.

Due to overwhelming demand, American Blues Theater has again extended Little Shop of Horrors, the comedic rock musical with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken, directed by Jonathan Berry, and music direction by Ensemble member Austin Cook. Little Shop of Horrors now runs through July 31, 2016 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago. Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts announces the 25th Annual Summer Gala, celebrating Bay Street's Silver Anniversary, totake place in Sag Harbor on the Long Wharf on July 9, 2016 benefiting Bay Street's educational and theatrical programs. The evening will include a special performance of scenes from productions from the past 25 years, as well as a silent auction, cocktail party, Live 'Fantasy Auction,' dinner and dancing.

Last fall, Princess Cruises raised the curtain on a new musical revue titled Magic to Do, from the Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-winning composer of Wicked, Pippin and Godspell Stephen Schwartz.

Deadline reports exclusively that Disney executives are in the early stages of planning a live-action feature film based on the Hans Christian Anderson classic THE LITTLE MERMAID.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the award-winning, worldwide smash hit, Broadway musical is returning to Fort Lauderdale as a 2015-2016 Broadway in Fort Lauderdale season option.  Produced by NETworks Presentations, this elaborate theatrical production will come to life on stage at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts June 15-19, 2016.
