With his production of The Full Monty on national tour, and The Daughter-in-Law opening earlier this week, Artistic Director Daniel Evans announces the new season for Sheffield Theatres.

59E59 Theaters has announced that playwright Mike Bartlett's (Artefacts in 2008) return to Brits Off Broadway with the US premiere of BULL, which just ended a successful run at the Crucible Studio, Sheffield.

59E59 Theaters will welcome the US premiere of THE GIRL I LEFT BEHIND ME, written by Neil Bartlett and Jessica Walker, and directed by Mr. Bartlett to Brits Off Broadway. THE GIRL I LEFT BEHIND ME begins performances on Tuesday, April 30 for a limited engagement through Sunday, May 19. Press opening is Sunday, May 5 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM & 7:30 PM. The 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation, opens with the world premiere of Sam Mark's The Delling Shore, directed by Actors Theatre's associate artistic director Meredith McDonough. The Delling Shore is playing in the Bingham Theatre and begins previews tonight, February 27, opens March 1 and runs through April 7.

The NY premiere of GOOD WITH PEOPLE, written by David Harrower (Blackbird, A Slow Air) and directed by George Perrin (Terre Haute), launches Scotland Week and Brits Off Broadway at 59E59 Theaters. GOOD WITH PEOPLE will begin performances on March 27 for a limited engagement through Sunday, April 21, 2013. Press opening is slated for April 3.

59E59 Theaters welcomes Scripts Up! with the NYC premiere of YEARS OF SKY, written by Barbara Blatner and directed by Christopher Scott. YEARS OF SKY begins performances tonight, February 21 for a limited engagement through Sunday, March 10.

Primary Stages continues their 28th season with the 20th anniversary revival of All in the Timing by David Ives. Directed by Tony Award-winner John Rando (Urinetown; A Christmas Story, The Musical),the production features Eric Clem (Blue Man Group), Carson Elrod (Peter and the Starcatcher), Jenn Harris (Silence! Near the end of 'Sure Thing,' one of the sextet of David Ives one-act comedies that make up All In The Timing, a pair of strangers meeting in a café bond over their mutual love for the early films of Woody Allen.  Perhaps the current offering from Primary Stages will inspire couples to meet at the 59E59 Theaters' bar and bond over the early works of Mr. Ives, before he became known for less-quirky full-length plays and concert adaptations of old musicals.

Author, performer, theatre artist, entrepreneur and solo impresario, Bradford Louryk, will appear as this season's Guest Performer at the Kumble Theatre for the Performing Arts (One University Plaza) on the Brooklyn Campus of Long Island University for the Theatre and Gender Studies Programs tonight, February 19 at 7:00pm.

The critically acclaimed Brits Off Broadway festival, host to the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City, returns for its ninth season of New York premieres of new British theater. Presented by 59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer), Brits Off Broadway launches on Wednesday, March 27 and runs through Sunday, June 30. Collaboration Town in partnership with Sister Scars will present the World Premiere production of ALL GIRLS, written by Anna Greenfield (Norma and Claude Get Married at the Lee Strasberg Institute) and directed by Lee Sunday Evans (The Play About My Dad at 59E59). The production will feature Zoe Costello, Anna Greenfield, and Anna Ryan Konkle.
