A stunt so dangerous Houdini refused to attempt it, the bullet catch has claimed the lives of at least 12 illusionists, assistants and spectators since its conception in 1613. Now, with a little help from his audience, modern-day marvel William Wonder presents a unique theatrical magic show featuring storytelling, mind reading, levitation, games of chance and, if you're brave enough to stay for it, the most notorious finale in show business.

Called "remarkable, multilayered and utterly gripping" by The Guardian, acclaimed writer/performer (and magician) Rob Drummond stars in this edge-of-your-seat show, which was a sell-out smash at Edinburgh Fringe 2012.

Rob Drummond (writer/performer) is an award winning playwright, performer, director and theatre maker based in Glasgow, Scotland. His wide ranging work includes the critically acclaimed ROB DRUMMOND: WRESTLING, for which he trained as a professional wrestler and performed in a ring at the Arches (Glasgow) in 2011, and a modern retelling of The Passion, which premiered in George Square in Glasgow in 2011. BULLET CATCH was a huge hit at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, winning both a Herald Angel Award and a Total Theatre Award. The production will tour to festivals and venues worldwide throughout 2013-2014, including Cultura Inglesa (Brazil), Spoleto Festival (Charleston), National Theatre (London), Brighton Fringe and Brits Off Broadway at 59E59 (New York). Rob is currently developing The Riot of Spring, his interpretation of Stravinsky's The Rite of Spring, where he will work with a choreographer as part of the Arches and National Theatre of Scotland's Auteurs Project. The performance will premiere at Glasgow's Tramway in May 2013 as part of the Arches' annual BEHAVIOUR festival. He is also developing work with Òran Mór, BBC Radio and the Traverse Theatre.

David Overend (director) trained at RADA and was Associate Artist at the Arches (2007-2010). Current projects include The Pirate by Stuart Hepburn (Òran Mór, Glasgow, May 2013). Other directing credits include Rolls in Their Pockets and Top Table by Rob Drummond (Òran Mór); A Work on Progress, Midland Street and Underneath the Arches (the Arches); Postshow, Demises and The Gyntish Self (Liars); and Salome by Oscar Wilde (RADA). David is also a Lecturer in Performance at the University of the West of Scotland.
