Purple Party: A Tribute To Prince will return to New Orleans for a night of dance, music, sex, and romance to help close out the final weekend of Jazz Fest 2023. The running homage to the trailblazing musical and cultural contributions of The Purple One is set to take place after midnight at The Howlin' Wolf on the final night of the 2023 Jazz Fest season, Sunday, May 7th (technically early a.m. May 8th).

LA-based futuristic R&B-funk artist, Shira Elias, shares soulful track 'EARTH SUN' out everywhere now ahead of her sophomore EP, SERVICES the EP, available for pre-order now. Alongside new music, Elias will perform a solo set as well as join the new Cool Cool Cool funk outfit at North Beach Music Festival this December with tickets available now.

Purple Party: A Tribute To Prince will return to New Orleans for a late-night blowout to help close out the final weekend of Jazz Fest 2022. The all-star tribute to the late, great Prince will hit Frenchmen Street’s Maison on Sunday, May 8th (technically early May 9th) at 2:00 a.m.

An all-star tribute to pioneering hip-hop duo OutKast is set to hit New Orleans for a late-night throwdown coinciding with the first Sunday of Jazz Fest 2021.

An all-star, late-night tribute to Steely Dan has been announced during this year's New Orleans Jazz Festival. The show, which boasts a thirteen-person band featuring members of Turkuaz, The Motet, Ghost-Note/Snarky Puppy, and The Nth Power, will take place at The Howlin' Wolf on Thursday, April 30th at 2:00 a.m. (technically early morning May 1st). Inspired by the vibrant musical communities of Brooklyn and New Orleans, the event brings together more than 50 artists in new and existing acts, allowing them to carry out passion projects, play with their musical heroes and collaborate in new ways.

Star Kitchen, the exciting new outfit from bassist Marc Brownstein (The Disco Biscuits), has announced the special guests for their upcoming late-night show at The Maison during this year's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on Sunday, April 28th. For their NOLA late-night, the nascent band—which also features Danny Mayer (Eric Krasno Band), Rob Marscher (Jennifer Hartswick Band/Matisyahu), and Marlon Lewis (Lauryn Hill/John Legend)—will welcome keyboardist and fellow Disco Biscuits member Aron Magner as well as a slew of Jazz Fest late-night stalwarts: guitarist Eric Krasno (Soulive/Lettuce), vocalist Shira Elias (Turkuaz), and saxophonist Khris Royal (Rebelution).

Celebrated guitarist Eric Krasno (Soulive, Lettuce) has announced the third edition of his Daze Between Band in New Orleans, LA. The late-night show, now an annual tradition during Jazz Fest, will feature an all-star cast of musicians from Lettuce, Trey Anastasio Band, Ghost-Note, and more. The show will take place at the beloved French Quarter club, One Eyed Jacks on Wednesday, May 1st.

The festivities for Brooklyn Comes Alive's fourth installment are right around the corner, and today, the festival is excited to release the daily schedule of events taking place at Brooklyn Bowl, Music Hall of Williamsburg and Rough Trade on September 29th.

On Saturday, September 29th, 2018, the one-of-a-kind music festival known as Brooklyn Comes Alive is taking over three beloved Williamsburg, Brooklyn neighborhood venues - Rough Trade, Music Hall of Williamsburg and Brooklyn Bowl. Aside from the powerhouse lineup encompassing members of Lettuce, The Disco Biscuits, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, The Meters, Turkuaz, Snarky Puppy and more, this year welcomes the addition of Jam Cruise's staple Jam Room, for its first-ever edition on land.

Last week, the fourth annual Brooklyn Comes Alive announced their September 29th return to Brooklyn's beloved Williamsburg neighborhood for a music marathon takeover at Brooklyn Bowl, Music Hall of Williamsburg and the latest addition, Rough Trade. Today, the one-of-a-kind festival lineup was revealed exclusively on SiriusXM by radio personality and industry insider Stef Scamardo, who also announced SiriusXM Jam On curator Ari Fink as the event's official host.

New Orleans during Jazz Fest provides the ultimate platform for artists to pay tribute to their favorite bands, musicians, and songwriters. The city is hallowed grounds for any musician, as it is ground zero for jazz, funk, and the improvisation that acts as the core of today's live music scene. For Michelangelo Carubba, drummer in the power-funk group Turkuaz, the impetus to pay homage to his influences while in New Orleans was so strong that, instead of picking between his favorite bands, he decided to pay tribute to two of them at once! Z-Funk: A Tribute To Led Zeppelin & Parliament Funkadelic will feature unique arrangements of songs by Led Zeppelin and P-Funk, with an all-star band that features some of the best and funkiest players he could find. Z-Funk will take place on Sunday, April 29th (technically early AM 4/30) immediately following Aaron Johnston's electronic improvisation project, J.E.D.I. (Jazz Electronic Dance Improvisation) at the same venue, Maison on Frenchmen Street.

Sound Street Productions presents the first full-length recording of Show Choir! - The Musical with new orchestrations by Assaf Gleizner, and under the musical direction of Kenneth Gartman. Show Choir! - The Musical is a melodious mockumentary about America's favorite teen pastime...with jazz hands. This original musical comedy by Mark McDaniels and Donald Garverick has been developing in New York City since 2006, including an award winning production at the 2007 New York International Fringe Festival and a sold out run at the 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival. Show Choir! also received acclaimed productions at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival and The American Conservatory Theatre - San Francisco in 2012.

SING FOR HOPE, an all-star concert to raise money for David's Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation, presented by the Foundation and Cara Samantha, is set for Sunday, October 5th 2014 from 2PM to 6PM at Toshi's Living Room at The Flat Iron Hotel, 1411 Broadway, New York, NY 10001 (at 26th Street). Performers from BROADWAY, AMERICAN IDOL and more will sing to support the cause.
