Manhattan Theatre Club is presenting the Broadway premiere of Skeleton Crew, written by Tony Award nominee Dominique Morisseau and directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson. The production opened just last night, January 26, at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) and BroadwayWorld was there for the big night!

Most recently the incomparable vocalist and actor was nominated for an Emmy for best actress for her stellar portrayal of Aretha Franklin in Genius: Aretha and is set to make her debut at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA  on July 30. 

All of the songs on the album were inspired by deep conversations Scott had with family and friends about their feelings, relationships, circumstances, as well as his own personal experiences. “Tough Love” is a candid appeal for a true friend.

'The Sound of Us,' a new documentary produced by Yamaha Entertainment Group, seeks to explore the impacts of music as an artform in today's chaotic world.

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's BRING IT ON was already hard a work this week recording their track for the album.
