“Sisters Friends” exemplifies what head Llama Sean O'Hagan was looking to achieve on this very modern pop album, combining and clashing various techniques new and old, to create a distinctive sound; when Rae and Sean's vocals meet in the chorus, there is a euphoric twisting of those elements.

Along with Fryars production twists, the record's wide reach is aided by the aforementioned guest vocalists, including two co-writes from Bonnie “Prince” Billy (who bonded with Sean over a shared love of gospel soul during writing sessions). With Hey Panda, Sean's production procedural has evolved past the upgrades.

This marks the return of The High Llamas - the longstanding musical project of acclaimed songwriter/producer/arranger Sean O'Hagan - who have announced their 11th studio album, Hey Panda, for release via Drag City. In conjunction, the group has released the title-track single, along with a video from director Simon Russell.

Produced by Mercury Prize nominated artist and celebrated producer Dave Okumu (Jessie Ware, Nilufer Yanya, Lianne La Havas, Joan As Police  Woman), the EP provides the follow up to last year’s New Light EP which was produced with Dan Carey  (Fontaines DC, Wet Leg, Kae Tempest, Bat For Lashes).

Melanie C has released her official music video for her brand new single, 'High Heels' today. Rising French electronic music producer and orchestral composer PREQUELL offers today (November 10) the video for 'Part V' from his debut album THE FUTURE COMES BEFORE (Verve). For it, a live performance of Prequell and an orchestra of 80 string and percussion players is captured aboard a platform upon on Paris' Seine River in front of famed Point Alexandre III to promote the city for the 2024 Olympics.
