Further casting has been announced for one of the all-time classic musical comedies, KISS ME, KATE,  which is making a long awaited return to the London stage this summer for a strictly limited 15-week run from 4th June until 14th September at the Barbican Theatre.

Boulder Arts Outdoors to Reunite Boulder Performing Artists and Audiences with A 'Drive-in' Festival


Boulder Arts Outdoors, a socially distanced drive-in performance festival, will offer the community an opportunity to enjoy a live performance while observing COVID-19 safety protocol in mid-August. Performances will take place Aug.14, 15 and 16 from 6:30 p.m to 8 p.m. at the Gerald Stazio Softball Fields parking lot, and include music, dance, juggling, and physical theater. Boulder Arts Outdoors producer Mara Driscoll presents the festival in partnership with the Boulder Symphony and the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department.

The Colorado MahlerFest, which had previously announced the cancellation of this year's in-person festival, announces the 2020 Virtual Colorado MahlerFest, May 13-17, 2020. The festival has curated a collection of performances, films, a virtual symposium, art gallery, and more which will be released each day at 3:30 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Washington National Opera (WNO), led by Artistic Director Francesca Zambello, announces its 2018-2019 season, one that continues its focus on bold productions of classic operas, fascinating contemporary perspectives, and the best in American artistry. The season includes a new WNO production of Verdi's classic romantic drama La traviata, the company premiere of Kevin Puts's and Mark Campbell's Pulitzer Prize-winning Silent Night, Tchaikovsky's epic Eugene Onegin, Gounod's devilishly entertaining Faust, and Puccini's towering masterpiece Tosca.
