Jerome Kurtenbach BIO

Jerome Kurtenbach is a composer, producer, artist, and musician. Along with Rachel Bloom, he wrote the new musical Broadway Crazy! and is a composer, co-songwriter, and orchestrator for the pilot and various episodes on the CW comedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. He's also served as the orchestrator for various projects, including the opening of the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards and Rachel Bloom’s I Don’t Care About Award Shows digital short. He's also scored over 30 other shorts and digital media, most recently Brian Bolster’s Winter’s Watch. Kurtenbach holds a professional film scoring degree from USC; he also has a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Composition from Oklahoma City University, studying under Dr. Edward Knight.

His new musical Outside the Lines (book and co-produced by Matt Mancuso), is in pre-production this fall.
