Legacy Theatre announces the full cast of 'A Christmas Carol' for their 2023 production, featuring James Andreassi as Ebenezer Scrooge. Keely Baisden and Chris Lemieux return as the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Present, with Melanie Martyn joining as the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

There was a buzzing excitement in the room last week as the diverse, multidisciplinary cast of Merry Wives of Windsor filed into the rehearsal room for the first read through. Among them was the founder and artistic director emeritus of Elm Shakespeare Company, James Andreassi, who plays the hot-headed French Doctor Caius in the show.

When an inspector mysteriously arrives at the home of the affluent Birling family, their intimate dinner party takes a turn for the worst. Inspector Goole brutally questions each family member regarding the death of a young woman, but each denies knowing her. Will the inspector get to the bottom of the mystery or will secrets remain?

Elm Shakespeare Company announced today the 2017 Free Shakespeare in the Parkproduction will be Shakespeare's beloved and iconic story of ill fated love, The Tragedy of Romeo & Juliet.  In addition to the traditional summer performances the company will present a series of community-wide events throughout the year focusing on the plays relevance today.

The Elm Shakespeare Company, a professional theatre company serving the greater New Haven community since 1995, has announced the selection of Rebecca Goodheart as its new Producing Director, replacing Founder and Artistic Director James Andreassi, and Managing Director Margaret Andreassi who are stepping down this Fall after 20 years of leadership.
