This December Alexandra Palace welcomes a programme of events for the festive season. From hit West End show Peter Pan Goes Wrong to pantomime Pinocchio on Ice and Santa once again taking up residence in the East Court.

The Royal Shakespeare Company have released the first images of Elliot Harper as Miss Trunchbull in Matilda The Musical's UK and Ireland tour, check them out below!

The Royal Shakespeare Company has announced that Elliot Harper will play Miss Trunchbull in Matilda The Musical's UK and Ireland Tour from Tuesday 15 January at Theatre Royal Plymouth. The tour will then play at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford (19 February - 23 March 2019), Edinburgh Playhouse (2 - 27 April 2019), The Bristol Hippodrome (7 May - 8 June 2019), Mayflower Theatre, Southampton (11 June - 6 July 2019) and Norwich Theatre Royal (16 July - 17 August 2019). The West End production will continue to play at the Cambridge Theatre, where it is now in its eighth year and is booking until 24 May 2020.

To mark Roald Dahl Day today, 13 September, the Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda the Musical welcomed to the Cambridge Theatre stage a very special visitor. Emma Moore, one of the four actresses who share the role of Matilda in the West End, supported the LEGO Roald Dahl Hero campaign by posing alongside the LEGO build of Matilda - which is composed of 8,900 bricks and took 48 hours to construct. The multi award-winning production is about to enter its seventh year in the West End and is booking at the Cambridge Theatre until 27 May 2018.

Children's Playhouse of MD (CPM), in residence at CCBC Essex, will open its 2013-2014 season with Bye Bye Birdie 1 p.m. on the weekends of Sept. 14-15, 21-22, 28-29 in the Administration Building Lecture Hall (formerly the J Building), CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Blvd. An additional 4 p.m. show Sept. 22nd will be sign language interpreted by students in the CCBC Interpreter Preparation program.
