Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Derek made his Broadway debut as Franz in Rock of Ages. Other credits include the 1st National Tour of Memphis (Ensemble/Swing), The Corn is Green at The Huntington Theatre Co., St. Louis MUNY, and Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Derek holds a BFA in Musical Theater from The Boston Conservatory.

ROCK OF AGES CONCERT Now To Feature Pre-Show Hosted By Randi Zuckerberg, Willam and Tom Lenk

Additional details have been announced for the one-night only, bi-coastal livestream jamfest Rock of Ages: All-Star Reunion Concert tomorrow night, Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 8:00PM ET. Hockadoo! The 2010 Tony winning Best Musical MEMPHIS will continue to blow the roof off of theatres across the country into the 2012 -2013 season. The season will kick off on September 11th in Portland, OR at the Keller Auditorium, and a return engagement is scheduled in the city where it all began - Memphis, TN at the Orpheum Theatre. On Wednesday, March 14th MEMPHIS celebrated its' 1,000th performance on Broadway where it continues to bring audiences to their feet on a daily basis.

Over fifteen Broadway and National Tour performers will join notable personalities on Monday, June 27, 2011 to celebrate New York City's Gay Pride at The LGBT Center in Manhattan. Broadway Sings for Pride: A Benefit Concert, is being produced by Neal B of NealB.tv and will benefit The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center. Attendees will enjoy the vast array of songs from Lady Gaga to The Beatles, along with a plethora of Broadway hits. Musical performances will feature cast members from The Book of Mormon, Wicked, Jersey Boys, Rent, Wonderland, Mamma Mia, Anything Goes and many more! Jim Lahti will serve as the evening's musical director and Carly Jibson (Broadway's Hairspray and Cry-Baby) will emcee. Musical accompaniment will be provided Jim Lahti on piano, Sean Harkness on acoustic & electric guitar and David Silliman on percussion. Kat Dudina and Mia Grottola, American Sign Language interpreters, will be signing for the hard of hearing and deaf community.

Celebrity fashion designer and animal advocate Michael Plosky is happy to announce 'Broadway Goes To The Dogs', a one-night-only cabaret concert to benefit Friends of Animal Rescue. The concert will take place on March 10, 2011 at the Triad Theatre (158 West 72nd Street), and is scheduled to begin at 9pm.
