James Blumenfeld and Susan Romaine, the principals behind The Meridian Art Experience, today announced several new developments, including:

New Gallery Manager at the mAe

Kimberly Gross has joined the mAe as gallery manager. "She brings a unique combination of skills including gallery management, art historian and a strong technology acumen. Kimberly has a Master of Letters in History of Art and Art World Practice from Christie's in London along with practical gallery management expertise," says Blumenfeld. "Her leadership and partnership with the owners will move the gallery forward as a dynamic and robust art space while evolving the mAe's online art experience - our online gallery and marketplace."

New Exhibition at the mAe

Artists such as George Dem and Carin Wagner will be among those featured in the next exhibition, Summer at the mAe, which will open on June 2 to coincide with the popular First Friday Art Walk, from 6 to 9 pm.

New Summer Hours at the Mae

Located at 170 NE 2nd Avenue in Delray Beach's popular Pineapple Grove Arts District, the mAe is announcing a new summer schedule where the buzz-generating gallery will be open from noon to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 5 pm to 10 pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. On Monday and Tuesday, the mAe will be available by appointment.

About the mAe:

The Meridian Art Experience represents "a diverse and fantastic world from the middle art market of emerging and mid-career fine contemporary artists," says Blumenfeld.

"At the mAe, we believe there is a vibrant, but under-served community of art enthusiasts who are interested in fine art that isn't homogenized," he adds. "They are seeking to learn more and are hungry for experiential ways to do so. In fact, they are eager to engage in the fine art of living with art."

The mAe also offers a full range of professional artistic services including:

· the mAe Gallery: Space for contemporary and emerging artists across diverse media.

· the mAe Group: How to buy, manage, collect and consign art.

· the mAe Art Services: Framing, Installation and in-home consultation

· the mAe Space: Event space rental for parties and events.
