The Unavailable Man Magnet, a new play by Winter Garden resident Amanda Scheirer is debuting at the 2016 Orlando International Fringe Festival.

At the heart of this new play is Nessa Reilly, a brand new author at the first stop on the promotional tour for her debut novel, The Unavailable Man Magnet. Nessa's stories explore self-confidence, love and sex all against the backdrop of the Orlando entertainment industry. Playing with the audience, Nessa weaves her quirky and complex tales with humor. "This play is part of a bigger project I am working on. Nessa's journey, her past and future are like the pieces of a very personal puzzle", says Scheirer. "The play is inspired by my own life and the lives of my friends, young strong women growing into themselves while working in these crazy fields of theatre, television, theme park entertainment and academia. It is a love letter to them."

Local actress Lauren Ashleigh Morrison plays Nessa Reilly. Supporting Morrison's performance are Daniel Drnach, Christopher Hampton and Nicholas McCartney. Although Scheirer's work has been produced in Ireland, Washington D. C. and Orlando, this is her Orlando Fringe Festival debut as both playwright and director.

The Unavailable Man Magnet plays in the Red Venue at the Orlando International Fringe Festival in Loch Haven Park.
