The Garden Theatre, located at 160 West Plant Street in historic Winter Garden, is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 Theatre Season, running from September 2014-May 2015. In addition to the five full-length theatrical presentations and the StarLite Film Festival, the season will be dotted with weekend events such as music and dance concerts, as well as movies and holiday offerings. Subscriptions will go on sale April 1 for current subscribers, April 15 for new subscribers, and May 1 for single tickets at gardentheatre.org or by calling the Garden Theatre Box Office at 407-877-GRDN (4736)..

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

From the producer who brought Nunsense and Little Shop of Horrors to the Garden Theatre stage, this suspenseful, heart-pounding Stephen Sondheim masterpiece tells the infamous tale of revenge by an unjustly exiled barber returning to 19th century London. His thirst for blood soon includes his unfortunate customers, while a resourceful owner of a pie shop downstairs has the people of London lining up in droves for a mysterious new meat pie recipe - and the carnage has only begun!

Orlando Ballet: Peter & the Wolf
October 25 - 26, 2014
Orlando Ballet and Garden Theatre continue their partnership with another family favorite, Peter and the Wolf. This colorful, theatrical family ballet tells the classic story of young Peter and the animals that live in the forest surrounding his grandfather's house. Enjoy a complimentary party prior to the performance, where the aspiring dancers can meet and greet with the professionals.

An Original Christmas Musical (Title TBD)

Doubt, A Parable

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama Doubt, A Parable follows a Catholic high school priest's battle for truth and personal integrity that will leave you with questions to ponder long after the curtain goes down. Doubt, A Parable is produced by mainstay partner Beth Marshall Presents, and will be their twelfth production on the Garden Theatre stage.

StarLite Film Festival
February 26 - March 1, 2015
The StarLite Film Festival is making a splash in the film world, taking a closer look at films with smaller budgets. This festival screens films made for $200,000 and under, and hosts filmmakers from around the world, and has welcomed guests from all across the US, Mexico, Germany and even Tajikistan. The StarLite Film Festival is returning in 2015 with fresh micro-budget films, cutting-edge workshops, and a change to meet and greet with filmmakers.

In a hilarious farce that has enjoyed hit revivals in London and New York, lift your tray tables and fasten your seat belts - Boeing Boeing is up and away on the Garden Theatre stage!

Orlando Ballet: The Magical Princess Doll

Orlando Ballet and Garden Theatre partner to bring renowned ballet to Winter Garden. In The Magical Princess Doll, follow the family tale of an eccentric toymaker and his mechanical doll in a beautifully tailored version for young audiences. Peter Pan

The entire community comes together for Peter Pan! In this community collaboration production, join Peter Pan, Wendy, Michael, and John in the timeless Broadway musical that will whisk you away to a place where dreams are born and no one ever grows up. The travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a fierce Indian tribe, a band of bungling pirates, and of course the villainous Captain Hook in one of the most beloved family favorites of all time.
