Michael Foster Heads to Winter Park Playhouse with HEROES AND VILLAINS

Michael Foster commands the stage with his new cabaret, Heroes and Villains, at The Winter Park Playhouse as part of their monthly Spotlight Cabaret Series, February 17 and 18. Christopher Leavy, Playhouse Musical Director, will accompany on piano.

Mr. Foster is a local artist with a strong international career, and divides his time between performing, directing and teaching. An Actors' Equity professional performer, Michael is proficient in both musical theatre and opera.

This powerfully talented vocalist, Michael Foster, will premiere his newest cabaret style show aptly named Heroes and Villains. This performance will feature famous Broadway songs and legitimate opera selections from "good and evil" characters of well- known productions in each genre.

Past national and international credits for Michael include Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni, Sid in Albert Herring and Figaro in The Marriage of Figaro as well as Tony in West Side Story, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls and Gaston in Beauty and the Beast. You can also join Michael in his summer cultural immersion program for performers held near Florence, Italy.

General Admission tickets are $20 plus a one drink minimum. Once sold out, a limited number of "Standing Room Only" tickets are available for $10. Seating is limited so advance reservations are strongly recommended. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a 7:30 pm cabaret.
