Write Act Repertory Eastside's Producing Artistic Director John Lant presents the New York Premiere of RENEWAL, a celebrated limited engagement, through June 7, 2014.

RENEWAL is the story of Joanna, bonafide Broadway star, who leaves the spotlight of the Great White Way for love. On the way into the arms of her betrothed husband to be, she befalls a tragic accident. Over the course of the following year, not only has she been betrayed by friends, but also nearly forgotten by her so-called agent. Will she ever find love as she transforms her outlook on life? This stylized 1950's melodramatic musical throwback will be done in a uniquely modern telling.

Starring: Kate Cherichello, Kelly Coalson, Lisa Dennett, Ned Donovan, Chelsea Gidden, Adam Kaster, Brandon Looney, Katrina Medoff, Alex Pagels, Brent Shultz, Emmanuelle Zeesman.

Written by Michael Antin, the show is directed by Gerald vanHeerden and choreographed by Marlene Thorn Taber, with musical direction by Jenny Shiroma. Produced by John Lant.

Performances run with the Write Act Repertory at the Times Square Arts Center, 300 W 43rd St., 2nd Floor, playing: May 22, 23, 24; May 29, 30, 31; and June 5,6,7 at 7:30pm. Tickets: $18.
