FRIGID New York presents A Lucky Artist Theater Company production: The Shorebound Swim with a One Click Kick: A Tragedy of Reason

The Shorebound Swim with a One Click Kick: A Tragedy of Reason blends theater and philosophical science to create a surreal world of heightened language and blurrEd Morals in which a genius removes himself from society and attempts to unlock the science behind the human experience; a boy gets his first taste of love, lust and betrayal and a desperate caretaker struggles to control her destiny. This gripping drama connects the cerebral with matters of the heart.

The cast of four actors will include William Kozy, Robin Madel, Nicko Libowitzand Robin Madel. The design team consists of set designer Tim McMath and sound designer Renee Levine.

Playwright Markus Paminger works in various aspects of NYC theater as a writer, director, actor and technician. He is a member of the Lucky Artists Theatre Company, the Emerging Artist Theater and the Invalid's Theater Company and works as a technician at the HERE Arts Center and frequently at 3LD. Assistant directing credits include Red Fly/Blue Bottle, Oh What War at HERE and the 2008 Clubbed Thumb Constitution Festival. He has also worked for Second Stage Theater, The Westport Country Playhouse, the Bard Summerscape Festival, and Vassar Powerhouse.

Director Alison Carroll has worked extensively in the off and off-off Broadway theater community since she moved to the city three years ago. In addition to working as a director, she has utilized her conceptual talents as a choreographer, lighting designer, and occasional stage manager for various productions both here in New York and at national venues. Her favorite credits include When Nature Calls (The Impulse Initiative), Divine Will (Orlando International Fringe Festival),The Sensational Josephine Baker (Emerging Artist) and Aunt Leaf (HERE Arts Center). She is a proud member of Emerging Artists Theater Company, Actor's Equity Association and a founding member of The Lucky Artist Theater Company. (www.theluckyartist.com)
