Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff/Producing Artistic Director) announced the cast accompanying Forbidden Broadway's Gerard Alessandrini in the launch of the "The Amas Musical Theatre Song Salon". They include several Broadway and Forbidden Broadway veterans including: Cristina Bianco (2009 Drama Desk Nominee for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical-Forbidden Broadway: Goes to Rehab), Donna English (Lend Me A Tenor, Forbidden Broadway SVU: Special Victims Unit), Gina Kreiezmar (several Forbidden Broadways), and Kevin B. McGlynn (National tours of Kiss Me Kate and All Shook Up and several Forbidden Broadways).

This first Salon event will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010. Complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served at 6:00pm and the program will begin at 7:00pm, at a private midtown Manhattan residence. A limited number of tickets will be available for $75 each, in support of Amas theatre and education programming.

"The Amas Musical Theatre Song Salon" is a periodic series of informal evenings exploring the American Songbook, including conversations with its foremost practitioners and performances by guest artists. The evenings will feature limited attendance in informal and elegant environments, including private homes and apartments. Guests will receive the address upon ticket confirmation. Ticket purchases are tax deductible as allowed by law. Future Salon events will be announced on an ongoing basis.

He is the recipient of Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre, an Obie Award, four Drama Desk Awards (including the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Lyrics and the Drama Desk Special Award), an Outer Critics Circle Award, and two Lucille Lortel Awards, as well as the Drama League Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre.
