Tickets for The Madrid are now on sale through Sunday, April 21 with previews beginning Tuesday, February 5 for a Tuesday, February 26 opening at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

The limited engagement of The Madrid stars Seth Clayton (MTC debut), Tony Award nominee John Ellison Conlee (Murder Ballad at MTC), four-time Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Edie Falco ("Nurse Jackie," The House of Blue Leaves, "The Sopranos"), Brooke Ashley Laine (New York debut), Drama Desk Award winner Heidi Schreck (Circle Mirror Transformation), Phoebe Strole (Spring Awakening), two-time Tony Award winner Frances Sternhagen (The Heiress), and Christopher Evan Welch (Lincoln).

Four-time Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Edie Falco returns to the New York stage in the world premiere of The Madrid by Liz Flahive.

Falco stars as Martha, a kindergarten teacher with a life many would want: a loving husband (Conlee), a devoted daughter (Strole). But when she leaves it all behind, it's up to her daughter Sarah to pick up the pieces. Two-time Obie winner, Leigh Silverman directs this hilarious and heartbreaking story about motherhood, freedom, and trying to see the people in your family as they really are.

The creative team for The Madrid includes: David Zinn (scenic design), Emily Rebholz (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Jill BC Du Boff (sound design), Tom Kitt (original music), and Caparelliotis Casting (casting).
